A biology teacher, Eric Brooks from Buena High School in Sierra Vista, AZ, a plant scientist, Frans Tax from the University of Arizona, and Erin Dolan, Fralin's Outreach Coordinator, have collaborated to create a guide for high school students to:

• design and conduct experiments
• collect and analyze data
• share conclusions to advance their understanding of the nature of science, plant biology, and genomics.
